The peculiar experience of time has often been noted as a hallmark symptom of Dissociative Manipulation Disorder. Patients experience time as purely and relentlessly linear.  The concept of digital time is sporadic. Round time is beyond conception.  Living in linear time robs the DM tof ability to be patient.  Little research exists regarding treatment for the "time torture" symptom of DMD, although scant studies indicate that bilateral ECT, DBT, art therapy, and the attainment of spiritual stability have provided significant relief to a small portion of the DM population, depending on their ability to work their asses off.
